Ilium Works announces a significant development in BMW Highway Peg / Engine Guard Bar or Crash Bars design for your 2018 and UP Bagger or Grand America.
Our engine guard protection system consists of side bars made of 1" diameter 1/8" thick heavy wall tubing that runs the full length of the engine. A 3/4" diameter solid steel cross bar ties the two sides together enclosing the engine in a sturdy cage with 6 points of attachment. All steel pieces are TIG welded and powder coated, all hardware is stainless steel.
This system also comes with the 33-400KIT, LIGHT BRACKET KIT which includes two powder coated steel adaptor plates and two M6 nylon nuts.
This protection system is designed to be fully compatible with our highway peg system, with 3" of fore and aft adjustment to accommodate riders of differing in seam lengths.
Highway pegs not included.
Use our highway pegs, part# 19-500BL with these engine guard bars (Crash Bars).
These will work with stock OEM fog lights.

     These Rear Guard Bars, Part# 30-800 / 30-800BL are designed to work in conjunction with our P/N 30-200 / 30-200BL (R1200RTW) or 34-200 / 34-200BL (R1250RT) Engine Guard Bars to offer the best overall protection for your R1200RT WATER COOLED or R1250RT in the event of a drop or tip over.  These can also be used in conjunction with other manufacturer’s engine guard bars as well.  These bars are constructed of heavy wall  (1” X .120” ) steel tubing and TIG welded to 7 ga. cold rolled steel brackets.  After shot blasting with stainless steel media, these bars are powder coated for a durable and trouble free finish in either Silver Metallic to complement the frame colors, or Satin Black for a more subtle look.

     

     

     

     These Rear Guard Bars are designed to work in conjunction with our P/N 26-500 Engine Guard Bars to offer the best overall protection for your K1600 in the event of a drop or tip over.  These can also be used in conjunction with other manufacturer’s engine guard bars as well.  These bars are constructed of heavy wall  (1” X .120” ) steel tubing and TIG welded to 7 ga. cold rolled steel brackets.  After shot blasting with stainless steel media, these bars are powder coated for a durable and trouble free finish in either Iron Glimmer to complement the frame colors, or Satin Black for a more subtle look.
